I have to mention this.. Pilots are trained everywhere to be weary of the relationship between manifold pressure and rpm. High manifold pressure and low rpm is a death sentence for your engine on paper due to the heat created on the rod bearings and the stress on the con rods. Is there a chart somewhere that says 1800 rpm is "safe" at 23 in/hg? Typically, 23 hg would be flowed with 2200 - 2400 rpm on modern continentals. There is a philosophy about stress to apply here where engine wear is also considerable in these conditions. When forces are greater on components when they are spinning slower and not dispersing energy at a higher rate which adds more stress forces to things such as bearings, conrods, and the the crankshaft compared to spinning fast and wearing things like cylinder walls faster, but applying less force to the stated components. Yes you can achieve these fuels burns, but could these power settings be hurting your engines reliability in the long run? Im just asking this because you are a real 250 flyer with the experience, performance charts, and know how.

Just recently bought the Comanche 250 from A2A and I have to say it has exceeded all my expectations and then some. This is a jawdroppingly awesome achievement. Scott and his team have redefined the very nature of flight simulation.

I've got a week off work and I'm just downloading my Commanche right now :) Cant wait!

How did you stop the towed airplane, to avoid hitting the car when you slowed down with it?

You should definitely customize the scenery to have small hidden potholes and ditches in the fields and lips coming back into pavement so that people can experience the occasional sudden stoppage of the prop. Ask me how know (IRL Comanche driver)

A2A has set a quality standard for aircraft in FS. Even today, products for old simulator are extremely realistic and detailed.

Why do you put the gear up when you still have plenty of runway left to land if the engine quit?

One thing that the Comanche shine really bright among a lot of MSFs GA plane, heck even paid airliner, is the ground handling. It's just feel better, the physic feels and looks better

Hi guys, or women I have this Com250 in P3D, but every time I start my P3D, this plane starts with the engine running. Then I turned everything off and saved this as a starting scenario. But when I start that scenario, the Com250 comes back with a running engine, Battery switch and NAV lights on. I would like to start this Com250 in Cold & Dark. Do you have any idea how I can manage that ?

I know it’s 10 years later. But this is my favorite plane to fly GA wise, I guess because it’s simple and I see a lot at my local airport, but I would LOVE to see this come to MSFS. This and a functional non instant GPU to plug it in like we can with the heater.

I just purchased the Comanche in MSFS the other day. So cool to stumble upon this video. I was curious of how authentic was all the sounds I was hearing in the SIM during taxi or flight and now i see they are pretty realistic. I’m in a toss up between purchasing a Mooney C/E or Comanche 250.

I found the trim lever but it's constantlly on the move regardless of my trim adjustments ....

Nice work on engine system attention to detail and also on the audio. I usually prefer more modern planes but this one is just too good not to have in my collection. Props (pun shamelessly intended) to the entire team.

Good lord these videos are pure gold. Scott's simple voiceovers are spectacular and so fitting for a product that is as polished and skillfully crafted as the A2A comanche. Absoluelty awesome, my only prayer is that they can do some fundraising to bring these amazing products to market just a little faster.

how to add water to the fuel system? Using some developer tools? Do we also have the opportunity to simulate faults and events from the tablet like this? Im flying this plane almost half of the year and never experience water in tanks. Same with the bird nest

Hello Scott, I greatly admire your work on this aircraft. I have a question and a challenge that I hope you'll consider. Recently, I attempted an inverted flight with the Comanche. I understand that this is not a standard procedure nor a permitted condition for this aircraft. Nevertheless, I observed an interesting phenomenon with the engine. While the oil pressure did decrease, the oil temperature remained unaffected. Surprisingly, the engine continued to run smoothly, contrary to expectations of potential oil starvation. I recall that your C182 simulation on P3D simulated this behavior. Is there a chance we might see this feature incorporated into the Comanche simulation in the future?

I can't wait for the Cessna 172 & 182. Those were my favorite A2A planes back in FSX. I remember taking your 182 from the Philippines up to Alaska during my around the world flight. I only ended up in Barrow. 😂

Do you have any idea of how much impact you guys have on teaching pilots? I'm a low time Private Pilot and learned way more with your software rather than on my Private Pilot theory studies, A2A is awesome, I can't describe how much I love you guys!!!
